Five Wind Instruments and a World of Music
From France to Cuba and from Argentina to the United States: during this lunchtime concert, Aires Tropicales crisscrosses various musical cultures.
Ligeti and Ravel are featured alongside Piazzolla, Gershwin, Dizzy Gillespie, and Compay Segundo. Classical, jazz, and Latin American music come together in a single colorful program for wind quintet.
After the performance, you can meet the musicians and take a closer look at their instruments. It's especially fun for kids, but certainly not just for them.
