The musicians at the festival are a mix of experienced young professionals and a new generation of younger talents. In 2025, we put together a festival orchestra for the first time for the closing concert. It was an impressive performance.
During the closing concert on February 14, 2027, the HearAndNow Festival Orchestra will perform a more diverse selection of pieces than last year under the baton of conductor George Vass. The program will feature music by Pärt and Ligeti, as well as a spectacular finale that will serve as a festival surprise. In this way, the young talents will experience a wide variety of music, ranging from contemporary works to the more familiar classics.
