Elles Venhuizen

Soprano Elles Venhuizen graduated in 2025 with a 9.5 from the Master of Music program at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam, where she was taught by Selma Harkink and coached by Roberta Alexander and Alexander Oliver. She recently sang Le Rossignol and Le Feu in Ravel's The Child and the Spells conducted by Ed Spanjaard, made her Berlin debut as Zerbinetta (Ariadne auf Naxos), toured with the Dutch National Opera in Dido and Aeneas, Bibi performed in Ellen Reid's p r i s m at the Royal Concertgebouw and could also be heard in other roles such as Blondchen and Despina.

She previously obtained her bachelor's degree at the ArtEZ Conservatory in Zwolle with a final technical assessment of ‘Excellent’. During her studies, she worked with Lenneke Ruiten on the role of Donna Anna, sang on national radio during the Grachtenfestival Amsterdam, and performed with the Nederlandse Reisopera. In 2025, she won the Critici Prize from the Niccolò Opera Competition van Westerhout; in 2021, the Audience Award North at the Princess Christina Competition.
